The Ceremony of hydro power plant in Phongsaly, Laos
On November 26th, 2013, Vinaenco Jsc – a subsidiary company of Bach Viet Land started a small hydro power construction project at Gnod Ou, Phongsaly province, Laos. The construction works were promptly implemented immediately after groundbreaking ceremony to ensure the plant be completed on schedule on February 28th, 2015.
This is a project sponsored by the Japanese government for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The total investment capital of the project is about 1.7 billion yen ($ 17 million), to build a 450 MW hydropower plant, which is one of three Japanese aid projects to be developed in Laos. Japanese government hopes that they will improve the system of health care, provide sustainable energy and expand transportation network in Laos.
Vinaenco as the construction contractor will be in charge of the entire construction of the plant and other supporting facilities. The project requires a large volume of construction materials and kinds of machine, ensuring the modernity and uniformity in order to serve the construction work of quality, progress and labor safety. All materials, equipment and labor for the construction work will be transported from Vietnam.
